Somebody called the morning of the appointment to tell me that the technician was running slightly ahead of schedule and asked if it was OK to arrive early. Of course, that was fine. The technician arrived as expected and introduced himself and described what he was going to do. I had no questions, so he went about his business. He was friendly and professional. There were no surprises and nothing special that required attentiion, so we finished up with the paperwork and he left.
