  • Sila is a rarity in this market – an HVAC contractor who not only knows their stuff – but actually cares about the consumer experience.  Phone inquiries are always prompt and polite; appointments are made with ease and not some ridiculous date in the far off future.

The technicians are certified, competent, take the time to get it done thoroughly, correctly and courteously.

Simply put they are the best in this area at what they do.  After years of putting up with rude, incompetent, and in more than one case utterly dishonest contractors, I am gratified and relieved that I can now simply leave it all to SILA.

  • Sila was able to fix my air conditioning problem that another repair company failed to fix. Their workers were courteous, well spoken, clean and obviously well trained in their profession. I was very happy with their service.

  • We had a service call from Greg M. He demonstrated such professionalism I felt I had to write and let you know. I’ve been thinking about what distinguished his visit from the service calls we get from technicians at other companies (e.g. plumbing, appliance repair). And I see three areas in which Greg particularly excelled:

    1. Greg was competent. It was clear that he knew what he was doing. He accurately and quickly diagnosed the problem. And equally quickly and competently solved it. Watching him work, I saw first hand the efficiency and ease with which he worked.

    2. Greg was personable. He smiled, maintained eye contact. He was a skilled communicator: explained the situation (i.e., what happened, how he was going to fix it), to my husband and me in easily understandable terms.

    3. He spoke well of Sila. (this is a quality I find very rare in service technicians). Since we had originally had our AC installed by Unique Indoor Comfort, I wanted to know what the transition to Sila was like. Greg spoke very highly of the company and how it treats it employees. It was clear he took pride both in his work and in his company.

Now, all of these fine qualities would be impressive on any given day. But this visit occurred at 4:30pm on Friday afternoon, the beginning of Memorial Day weekend. And yet Greg didn’t seem rushed or resentful. He took his time, he took care to get the job done right the first time.

Bravo, Sila, for hiring such a great employee. You should be proud that someone of Greg’s caliber is representing your company.

  • Very professional and competent. Servicer performed the work promptly and shared his finding afterwards. No hard sell of additional services. I’d definitely use again. Highly recommended.

  • I was amazed by their attention to detail and cleanliness. They were professional and courteous. They’ve inspected and repaired my water heater and heater with focused professionalism. I’ve maintained a service contract for several years. I’ve had many different technicians performing various duties in and outside my home without issue. I will retain their heating and cooling services.

  • Can’t say enough good things about these guys. We had no heat and logged an emergency call, since we have a 2-year old in the house. Al called back quickly – at 10:00 at night – and spent likely a total of half an hour to 45 minutes on the phone, combined with countless texts, trying to help us troubleshoot the problem so we wouldn’t have to pay extra for an overnight call.

It turned out that we really did need a service call the next morning – our boiler is ancient and weird and, as it turned out, a serious challenge to work on. As a matter of fact, a friend who does this for a living took one look at it and told me we’d need a new one. Not Al. Nope. He was a freaking ninja. He pulled that thing apart, piece by piece, figuring our 50+ year old system out from scratch. Through the whole frustrating process, he was thoughtful about his approach, extremely respectful, and seemed to not mind the million and one questions. Thanks to Al, I now have a toasty-warm house AND a really solid understanding of how my boiler works.
